Artist Bio

I officially started my artistic journey at the age of 7 but my love of art and painting started around the age of three. Art was a way for me to bring my hopes and dreams into reality or to express feelings or a desire for something (back then it was for a puppy!). At 13, it is a way for me to lose myself in my own world. A way for me to cope from stresses such as school and even moving to another country. 

I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in an art exhibit while under my first formal art teacher Yulia Ileva while I was living in Switzerland. I was also lucky enough to have gone under the tutelage of Mrs. Elaine Thompson, a (now retired) Art Director. However, my best art teacher, the one who patiently pushed me and encouraged me was Mrs. Nicola Jupp -- my teacher from St. George's School in Switzerland.

I was born in New York to Filipino parents, I have an older brother who is my best friend (and ultimate tormentor). I have lived very briefly in the New York and Manila before we had to move to Jakarta, Indonesia where I spent a good four years of my childhood. My family then moved to Switzerland where we were lucky enough to stay for eight years. At present, I live in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  I've been to over 24 countries and apart from art, the second thing I am passionate about in this world is FOOD!
